We know this is 4 days late, but as we hit the end of the year, we felt like it would be a good time to reflect on our channel accomplishments during our first 9 months. Even though the channel is relatively new, the idea of putting up a live railcam started well before we turned it on in late March 2025.

As of December 31, this is how we’ve grown:

Views – 274,638

Watch Time – 53,800 hours

Subscribers – 1,702

We also put up a website (still only partially complete), a bare bones Discord server, and a basic merch store. 

In addition to our livestreams, we put up 74 videos and 9 shorts.

Like nearly every content creator, we’ve worked through corrupted files, technical glitches, and the dreaded Windows 10 to 11 migration (which resulted in us needing to upgrade one of our computers). We also researched, purchased, and installed a Network-Attached Storage system to help with file management.

On the personal side, we’ve managed to meet a number of railfans, particularly other railfan content creators. We really enjoy seeing folks out at the track filming. And we have found ourselves really touched by the number of folks who stop into live chat and join in our small, but growing community. This channel wouldn’t exist without everyone’s support. (The like, comment, subscribe thing is REAL y’all!)

Honestly, we never thought we would be retiring only to create a full-time job for ourselves. These first nine months have been full of lessons and learning – but the best part has been about the journey and people we’ve met so far.
